Fernanda joined Uniquity in June 2021, bringing more than a decade of copywriting experience in financial services. As a tone of voice specialist, she’s well-versed in shaping the voice of a brand and crafting words that work.
A politics post-graduate from the University of Sheffield, Fernanda made the move from public to private sector comms during a nine-year stint in New Zealand. There, she discovered a talent ¬– and passion – for transforming complicated financial concepts into clear, engaging language that hits home and gets straight to the point. Starting with an award-winning pensions and investment company in Wellington, Fernanda stayed in this field on her return to the UK, continuing to craft compelling content across a wide range of channels for diverse audiences.
Before joining Uniquity, she spent five years as copywriter and digital content manager for an international wealth management business. As well as steering a complete website refresh there and developing their social media presence from scratch, her tax and financial articles for the firm were regularly published across European and UK media.
