After more than a century spent serving rural communities, NFU Mutual now forms a UK-wide network of 300 regional agencies. Offering commercial conver and private insurance, pensions, banking and investment services, the mutual-led business continues to offer personal, specialist wealth management services to a rapidly expanding customer base.
With a strong centralised marketing department, NFU Mutual sought to support eight of their regional offices to develop and execute their own marketing plans for 2017/18.
Uniquity was introduced to named agencies across the UK, taking each through the first step of our Marketing Breakthrough programme.
To start, we hosted a planning workshop with each regional team to identify key opportunities and challenges there, and better understand their agencies’ target customer segments. This enabled us to refine the NFU Mutual brand purpose and vision for each office, before delivering our findings in a comprehensive planning document.
To support delivery, we’ve since provided ongoing support, event marketing and design services to several of the agencies. Uniquity has also strengthened coordination between the central marketing team and regional offices by feeding back marketing and branding insight from each team, enabling NFU Mutual to apply our learning across the whole organisation.
