From Potential

About

Based on the fringes of Glasgow, Synergy Financial Planning was established more than 40 years ago, originally going under the name Robert A Neely. It’s now run by a second generation of the same family, who are still focused on helping successful business owners, individuals and their families make better decisions with their money.

Brief

Business owner David wanted to rename the business and give it a modern new look. They asked for our help to create a striking new brand that would sum up the way they like to work, along with a website and matching marketing materials that could take their business into a new era.

To Performance

Our first step, as always, was to get to know the team and develop a clear understanding of how they work. We discovered that synergy was incredibly important to everyone; if there was a certain synergy with a client, that’s when financial planning was most effective. Using this as our guiding principle, we set to work creating a smart new name, look and feel for the business.

In producing a new brand for Synergy FP, it was incredibly important that we didn’t lose the legacy of their history. Or, the truly personal service they’ve been providing to clients for over four decades. So, as well as being fresh and modern, the brand also had to convey a certain gravitas, giving confidence to clients, old and new.

With the Synergy FP brand established, the final steps were to roll this out. We wrote and designed a new website and suite of marketing collateral, focusing on the newly discovered brand purpose, ‘We believe everyone should know where they’re heading financially’, along with their very person-centred approach to financial planning. The business can now look forward to working in synergy with the people of Glasgow for the next 40 years.

“The team at Uniquity have been running our marketing for some time and the results are always impressive. We're very pleased with our new brand and the website really reflects our strengths as a business.”
